Acknowledgement in the HALL OF FAME is based on the
principle of “recognition of outstanding achievement in Inter
Dominion Championships or significant contribution to Trans
Tasman harness racing affairs”.
In this context, the Inter Dominion Harness Racing Council in 2005 has
endorsed the determining criteria as follows:
| Significant People: | Those awarded the Inter Dominion Ern Manea Gold Medal.* |
| Top Drivers: |
Those with 3 or more wins in an Inter Dominion series Grand Final. |
| Champion Horses: |
Those with multiple wins in an Inter Dominion series Grand Final. |
* The Ern Manea Gold Medal (previously known as the Inter
Dominion Gold Medal) is the Council’s highest award for an
Industry Participant who has achieved a significant long-term
contribution to Australian/New Zealand harness racing affairs,
or significant long-term contribution to the Inter Dominion
Championships.
